The Hanic Company was established in 1973 in the Borovo, Croatia. The establisher and the owner, Mr. Esad Hanic, has started his dream from one small sawmill. Today his company represents well successful, and modern company for timber production. The company produces timber products,pallets, lumber, batten, and hardwood floors. In 1991 due to Croatian war, Mr. Hanic has decided to shift the company production to Gradacac, Bosnia.

             Unfortunately, one year later the Bosnian war caused this company to stop with its production, and to hope for better times. Due to war actions some properties of this company have been completely destroyed. Therefore, the first post war project was rebuilding of destroyed properties. Thanks to the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Mr. Hanic was able to start with his production very fast. After rebuilding of existing properties, the Company has decided to build new property at the location of Ormanica in Gradacac. Today the Hanic Company stands for one of the best modern companies, for timber production, in Bosnia.
